Girl Scouts Career Day - April 2009

The Cullie Group was part of the Chicagoland Girl Scouts career day on April 25th, 2009.  Shaylyn Cullen presented all aspects of engineering and construction management as a career option for women.  Other topics included development, facilities management and architecture.

IIT - Green Housing Presentation - October 2008

On October 1, 2008, Shaylyn Cullen of the Cullie Group brought real life examples to a group of Architecture
students at IIT. The focus of the presentation was LEED for Houses, with a focus on 'designing green'. As a
member of the US Green Building Council, Shaylyn provided the framework to assist in the design process to
meet and exceed the LEED rating system. Students shared plans and evaluations for an open discussion on
techniques to be green and cost efficient. Wait to the end of the semester to see who will get certified.

The Windy City Classic - September 2008

The annual Windy City Classic celebrity golf tournament has been part of the Chicago golf scene for 11 years. Teams assemble to test golf skills and raise money for cancer research.

The 2008 Windy City Classic was held on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008 at the White EagleGolf Club in Naperville, IL and benefited The Michael Klein Memorial Fund and The Kathi Warble Foundation.

The Cullie Group has been involved with this event for the past 5 years and currently serves on the Board.
